About the Program
The Indian Space Association (ISpA) Internship Program is designed to foster talent and nurture the next generation of innovators in the space sector. This program provides an immersive experience in space science, engineering, and technology through a structured approach that combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience.
With a duration of 3-6 months, this program prepares participants for impactful careers in the space sector by providing exposure to real-world challenges and opportunities in India's growing space ecosystem.
Eligibility Criteria
The ISpA Internship Program is open to candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Graduates with a keen interest in space technology and research
- Individuals eager to contribute to the space domain through innovation and dedication
- Candidates from Delhi NCR preferred
Program Details
- Duration: 3-6 months minimum commitment
- Mode: Onsite participation at ISpA facilities
- Stipend: This is an unpaid internship program
- Employment Opportunity: Suitable candidates may be offered employment at ISpA upon successful completion
- Certification: All participants will receive an official certificate from the Indian Space Association upon successful completion
Available Positions
Research & Development
Contribute to the development of the space ecosystem in India through multidisciplinary research in space policy, law, space technology, and satellite services including Satcom and Earth observation. Analyze global and national frameworks and work with industry leaders to support ecosystem development.
Graphic Designer & Web Development
Collaborate with the Social Media team to conduct user research, design prototypes, and develop web interfaces for websites, apps, and digital platforms. Ideal for candidates with a flair for visual design and a strong grasp of latest web development tools. Applicants should have a strong sense of design, creativity, and a user-first approach.
Content Writing & Social Media
Create social media as well as web engine specific content through creative writing and SEO Management. Develop engaging and informative content that raises awareness about space technology and its applications.
Policy and Legal
Engage in in-depth research and analysis of legal and policy frameworks related to space policies and international regulations. Work closely with experts to draft policy recommendations and support advocacy efforts to promote sustainable development of the space sector.
